Cabin Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Stir dry ingredients together and blend with lard or shortening.
    Add buttermilk, about 1 cup, to make soft dough. Roll out to 1/4 to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on baking sheet and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 10 minutes or until brown.
