Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    1/4 c. shortening
    6 eggs
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    2 tsp. brandy flavoring
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar,
    butter and shortening.
    Add eggs one at a time; beat
    after
    each.
    Add
    flour and milk alternately with flour being added last.
    Add vanilla, lemon and brandy flavorings.
    Add baking
    powder
    last.
    Place
    in greased tube pan. Place in cold oven.
    Turn
    heat to 325\u00b0 or 350\u00b0.
    Bake 1 hour and 15
    minutes or
    longer.
    Cool
    and remove from pan.
    Cool about 10 minutes.
