Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 can (2 c.) fruit cocktail
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
    1 stick butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix and bring to a boil for 3 minutes until thick.
    Pour over cake.
