Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. prunes (after seeded and cooked)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Blend sugar, oil and eggs.
Mix dry ingredients thoroughly together and add to first mixture alternately with buttermilk; then add vanilla, nuts and prunes.
Pour into buttered oblong pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until done.
While cake is still hot, pour Buttermilk Icing on it.
