Italian Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 clove garlic, mashed
    2 tsp. salt
    boiling water
    8 oz. spaghetti
    grated Parmesan
Preparation
    Brown beef with onion and pepper in olive oil.
    Break up meat. Add next 5 ingredients; cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Stir garlic and 1 teaspoon salt into sauce.
    Add remaining salt to boiling water and cook spaghetti according to package directions.
