Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked pie shell
    1 qt. strawberries
    3/4 c. cold water
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Take 1 cup berries and crush.
    Place in a 2-quart saucepan. Add water and bring to a boil. Cook 3 to 4 minutes. Mix together the sugar, cornstarch and salt, then add slowly into berries. Cook until thick and clear.
    Put 1 cup berries in a pie shell.
    Mix the rest in thickened sauce and pour on top of berries in pie shell. Chill and serve with Cool Whip.
