All-American Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 frozen deep dish 9-inch pie shell
2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling mix (not instant pudding)
1 qt. milk
2 c. frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 pt. basket fresh strawberries, stemmed
1 c. fresh or frozen, thawed blueberries
powdered sugar for garnish
Preparation

Bake and cool pie shell as package directs; set aside.
In 3-quart saucepan combine pudding mix and milk.
Cook and cool for pie, as package directs.
Pour into cooled crust.
Chill several hours until set.
Spread 1 cup of whipped topping over filling. Arrange strawberries and blueberries on top.
Pipe or dollop with remaining whipped topping.
Just before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
