Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 to 2 lb. ground beef
    3 Tbsp. butter
    6 potatoes
    1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 small can peas
Preparation
    Saute onion with oil.
    Add ground beef and brown.
    Grease with butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Boil 6 potatoes (peeled) for 40 minutes.
    Mash with milk and butter.
    Place ground beef and onion in bottom of casserole dish.
    Add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce.
    Drain can of peas and layer peas over beef. Place mashed potatoes on top of peas; dab with butter.
    Bake for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, then serve.
    Makes 4 servings.
