Ingredients

1 large box vanilla wafers, crushed
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Chocolate Sauce
Preparation

Mix the wafer crumbs, butter and nuts.
Put half of the mixture in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch dish.
Cut the ice cream into slices and place over crumbs.
Top with balance of crumb mixture. Put in freezer until serving time.
Cut into squares and serve with Chocolate Sauce.
