Louisiana Barbecued Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bacon, cut in thirds
    5 (No. 1) cans pork and beans
    1/4 c. prepared mustard
    2 tsp. liquid smoke
    1 large onion, chopped semi-fine
    1 pkg. brown sugar (2 1/2 c. packed)
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1 bottle ketchup
Preparation
    Fry bacon in a 4 to 6-quart capacity pot until crisp.
    Add onions and saute until clear.
    Add beans and stir.
    Then add remaining ingredients.
    Stir well and lower heat to simmer.
    Let simmer, uncovered, until cooked down to consistency desired (about 2 hours or more).
