Mushroom Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, trimmed
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. minced onions
    1 stick oleo or butter
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt or powder
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 can water
Preparation
    Cut steak into 4-inch pieces.
    Melt butter or margarine in large pot with Worcestershire.
    Sear meat on high heat until light brown on each side.
    Turn down to simmer.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Cover and simmer for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until tender.
    Stir frequently.
    Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes.
