Spaghetti With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. sweet butter
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 tsp. sweet basil flakes
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1 large bunch parsley
    3 (7 oz.) cans minced clams and juice
    salt
    pepper
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 lb. spaghetti
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Put butter and oil in pan with chopped onions.
    Cook slowly for about 20 minutes.
    Onions should be cooked until transparent, not brown.
    Add the basil and oregano.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Chop the parsley (no stems) until minced and add to the mixture.
    Cook 10 minutes more.
    Add clams and the juice in the cans and cook 5 minutes.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add Parmesan cheese.
    Cook spaghetti.
    Pour mixture over noodles.
    Sprinkle with cheese. Serves 4 to 6.
