Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh peaches
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. oleo
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sprinkle sliced peaches with lemon juice and sugar.
    Let stand one hour.
    Drain.
    Measure one cup of syrup.
    Add to cornstarch; blend.
    Stir over low heat until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add oleo, salt and extract.
    Cool.
    Place peaches in shell.
