Pumpkin Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk or half and half
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Beat together and bring to a boil.
    Add 1 cup (or more if desired) of long grain cooked rice and 2 tablespoons butter.
    Heat about 5 minutes.
    Do not boil.
    If thicker soup is desired, cut down on milk.
