Buttermilk Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fryer chicken (2 1/2 to 3 lb.), cut up
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    cooking oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Place chicken in flat dish.
    Pour buttermilk over.
    Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Mix flour, salt and pepper in a paper bag.
    Drain chicken.
    Toss, one at a time, in flour mixture. Place on waxed paper for 10 minutes to dry.
