Stir-Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage (3 lb.)
    8 slices bacon
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. dried leaf rosemary, crumbled
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Halve the cabbage; thinly slice crosswise and rinse with cold water.
    In a large pot, cook the bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon; drain on paper towel and crumble.
    Return 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings to pot.
    Add cabbage, onion, caraway seed and rosemary to pot, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender (if needed, add 2 tablespoons water), about 15 minutes.
    Stir in crumbled bacon, salt and pepper.
