Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef
    2 c. potatoes, cut in large pieces
    2 or 3 carrots, cut in chunks
    1 can tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
Preparation
    Cook stew beef in water to cover, until tender.
    Add vegetables to meat and cook until vegetables are tender.
    In a skillet, put oil and diced onions; fry until brown.
    Stir onion mixture into pot of meat and vegetables.
    Simmer 3 minutes or until stew has thickened.
