Sweet Potato Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium sweet potatoes (2 lb.)
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 large can peaches in syrup
3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Boil whole, unpeeled sweet potatoes until tender.
Drain, peel and cut into thick slices.
Drain peaches, save the juice.
Stir the brown sugar into the juice until dissolved.
Put a layer of potatoes in a baking pan.
Spread half of the peach slices over the potatoes.
Dot with butter.
Sprinkle with the ginger.
Repeat this step for second layer.
Pour brown sugar mixture over potatoes.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
