Christmas Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 egg whites
    1/2 pkg. fruit flavored gelatin
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in heavy saucepan.
    Cook, stirring, to hard ball stage.
    Beat egg whites until soft peaks form; beat in gelatin.
    Pour syrup over egg whites in thin stream, beating constantly.
    Beat until candy is stiff and glossy; stir in nuts.
    Drop from spoon onto waxed paper.
    Cool.
