Baked Potato And Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. potatoes, pared and thinly sliced
    2 large onions, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    2/3 c. bread crumbs
    4 Tbsp. butter
    paprika
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    In a buttered oblong baking dish, place 1/3 of the potatoes and onions.
    Sprinkle with salt.
    Dot with 1/3 of the lemon juice. Repeat twice.
    Melt 4 tablespoons butter and toss with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
    Sprinkle on top of casserole.
    Top with paprika, salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Uncover and continue baking until top is lightly browned.
    Yield: 12 servings.
