Pistachio Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant pistachio pudding
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks (undrained)
    1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, halved and drained
    1 (20 oz.) can pears, drained and cut in pieces
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix pistachio pudding with pineapple and juice.
    Fold in remaining ingredients.
    Put in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
