1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1 beaten egg
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Add egg; beat thoroughly. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture. Form into tiny balls on ungreased sheet. Press with fork to make crisscross. Bake 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
