Supreme Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can (no salt) green beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can yellow wax beans, drained
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen English peas, thawed
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. thinly sliced purple onion
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimento, drained
    1 tsp. minced fresh garlic
    3/4 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    16 packets sugar substitute sweetened with aspartame or 8 packets sweetened with acesulfame-K or saccharin
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; set aside. Combine vinegar, oil, salt and pepper in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat; stir in sugar substitute.
    Pour over vegetables; toss gently.
    Cover and chill 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
    Drain before serving. Yields 7 servings.
