Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until well blended.
Add egg and mix
well.
Stir
in flour.
Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Flatten
with
fork dipped in cold water (horizontally and vertically).
Bake
at
350\u00b0
for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges brown.
