Garlic Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. grits
    4 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 (6 oz.) roll garlic cheese, diced
    2 eggs, well beaten
    milk (add to eggs to total 1 c.)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease a casserole dish (8 x 8-inch). Cook grits in boiling salted water according to directions on package.
    Add margarine and cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Add the beaten eggs with the milk.
    Stir until well blended.
    Pour into prepared casserole.
    Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until nicely browned on top.
    Serve piping hot.
    Makes 8 servings.
