Parmesan Baked Vidalias - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 jumbo Vidalia onions
    14 Ritz crackers, crushed
    1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    1 stick margarine, melted
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Peel and slice onions into 5/8-inch strips.
    Cook in boiling salted water until half done.
    This is important.
    Drain in colander.
    Butter an 8-inch square casserole.
    Place 1/3 of the crushed crackers, butter and Parmesan.
    Repeat layers, using 1/3 each time.
    Sprinkle the milk over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes or until onions are done.
    Makes 4 servings.
