Asparagus Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. crumbled saltine crackers
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. warm milk
    onion powder to taste
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 (15 oz.) cans green-tipped asparagus, drained
    1 can cream of asparagus soup
    1/2 c. melted Velveeta cheese
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt margarine.
    Add crackers and stir until well mixed and color changes.
    Mix together eggs, milk, onion and salt.
    Add crackers and asparagus; mix again.
    Turn into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, until set.
    Heat soup with milk; mix in melted cheese, pour over loaf and serve.
