Lebkuchen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, beaten
1 lb. brown sugar
1/2 c. candied fruit
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
Preparation

Beat eggs well.
Add sugar, fruit and nuts.
Sift together flour and other dry ingredients.
Gradually add dry mixture to the egg mixture, stirring only enough to moisten the flour.
Spread 1/2-inch thick in a greased pan; bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Cut into squares while still warm and drizzle with powdered sugar/water glaze.
