Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. candied pineapple
1/2 oz. vanilla extract
1/2 lb. butter
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 lb. candied cherries
4 c. pecans
1/2 oz. lemon extract
Preparation

Melt butter.
Add beaten eggs, one at a time.
Stir in sugar. Add 1 1/2 cups flour and baking powder.
In separate bowl, combine fruits, nuts and 1/4 cup flour.
Stir extracts into batter, then add fruit and nuts.
Pour batter into lined tube pan.
Place cake in cold oven.
Turn on to 250\u00b0.
Bake for 3 hours.
