Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beans
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil or a 2-inch square fat back
    water
Preparation
    Combine ingredients, adding water to top of beans.
    Cover. Cook beans until they are tender.
    Remove the lid and dry all the water out, stirring often.
