Homemade Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 medium pepper, cut fine
    2 lb. hamburger
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. garlic (if desired)
    2 Tbsp. chili powder (more or less as desired)
    2 tsp. salt
    1 small can tomato sauce
    2 cans tomatoes or 1 qt. tomato juice
Preparation
    Cook chopped onion and pepper in oil until tender and browned. Add meat and cook until well done.
    Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, tomato sauce and tomatoes; cook about 20 minutes. Add chili powder and cook an additional 10 to 15 minutes.
    Set aside and let cool; drain off fat and liquid from top of chili. Reheat when ready to be eaten alone, with beans or with hot dogs.
