German Honey Almond Cake(Serves 12) - cooking recipe

4 1/2 oz. can blanched whole almonds
2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. honey
1/3 c. salad oil
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
2 eggs
6 red candied cherries
Preparation

Reserve 48 whole almonds.
In blender or food processor, chop remaining almonds until finely ground.
