California Walnut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie shell
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 c. large walnut pieces
Preparation

Mix brown sugar and flour in a saucepan.
Mix together eggs and vanilla.
Add butter and salt.
Add corn syrup and walnut pieces.
Warm over low heat until butter is melted.
Turn
into pie shell and sprinkle with walnuts.
Bake on lower rack of oven at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes until filling is set in center.
Cool before cutting.
