Daisy'S Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. lemon extract
    6 eggs (beat yolks and add to mixture)
    1 c. buttermilk with 1/4 tsp. soda
    3 c. flour with 1/2 tsp. salt
    egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add egg yolk and lemon extract. Mix in the dry ingredients with the buttermilk.
    After this is well mixed,
    fold
    in
    egg whites.
    Bake in a tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
