Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large Spanish onions
    1 stick butter or margarine
    3 cans beef broth
    1 can water
    1 Tbsp. sherry (optional)
    1/4 lb. grated Swiss cheese
    1 c. bread cubes
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter or margarine until golden.
    Add beef broth and water.
    Boil 15 minutes.
    Add sherry and stir 1 minute. Pour into individual bowls.
    Top with bread cubes.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Broil for 1 minute until cheese melts.
