Yo Kan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sticks kanten (agar-agar)
    5 c. water
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 can cooked \"An\"
Preparation
    Rinse kanten and soak in 5 cups of water for 5 minutes. Cook until
    it
    starts to boil; add sugar and continue cooking for about
    5
    minutes,\tstirring
    constantly.
    Add
    the \"An\", mixing well
    and
    continue
    cooking
    for 4 to 5 minutes.
    Pour into
    a
    9 x\t13-inch
    container.
    Cool and refrigerate until firm.
    Cut into desired shapes.
