Luscious Lime Angel Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (.3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    1 prepared (8-inch) angel food cake, cut into cubes
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 (8 oz.) carton whipped topping, thawed and divided
Preparation
    In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Refrigerate until mixture just begins to thicken, about 35 minutes. Place cake cubes in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish coated with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in sugar and lemon juice. Add gelatin mixture; beat until combined. Fold in 1 1/2 cups whipped topping. Spread over cake, covering completely. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until firm. Cut into squares; top with remaining whipped topping.
