Amish Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. rolled oats, not instant
    1 c. melted butter
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In large bowl, soak oats, butter and sugar overnight.
    Next day, preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Add remaining ingredients and drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased and floured cookie sheet.
    Bake 20 minutes or until done.
    Make 36 cookies.
    This is a chewy cookie.
