Tasty Corn Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel yellow corn
    1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel white corn
    1/2 c. finely chopped onions
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (2 oz.) jar pimiento, drained
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white wine vinegar
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients.
    Mix well and set aside.
    Combine sugar, vinegar and garlic powder; stir until sugar dissolves. Pour over vegetables, tossing gently.
    Cover tightly and chill 8 hours or overnight.
