Coconut Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1-1/2 c. sweet milk
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. coconut, split into two (1/2 cup) units
    12 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix milk, sugar and 1/2 cup coconut; simmer 1 minute.
    Punch holes in cake and pour hot mixture over cake.
    Mix 1/2 c. coconut with Cool Whip and ice cake with this mixture.
    Keep refrigerated. Keeps for several days.
