Grits And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. grits
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. Lawry's salt
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of Tabasco
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    3 green onions, chopped fine
Preparation
    Cook grits in boiling water for 6 minutes; add butter and beaten eggs.
    Add all seasonings and grated cheese, mixing well. Pour into greased baking dish and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour, until top is golden.
    (This may be frozen before baking.)
    Serves 10.
