Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 very ripe bananas
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add mashed bananas and unbeaten eggs.
Mix flour, soda and nuts together and add to above.
Beat well.
Bake in a greased loaf pan for 50 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
