Orange Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pecans
1 lb. English walnuts
1/2 lb. cherries
1/2 lb. pineapple
2 (7 1/4 oz.) pkg. dates
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
grated rind of 1 large orange
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients; set aside.
Combine remainder of ingredients.
Combine both mixtures and bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour and then at 300\u00b0 for 2 hours.
