Clam Chowder(Crock-Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, diced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    10 potatoes, pared and cubed
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 sticks celery, diced
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams or use fresh clams
Preparation
    In small skillet, saute bacon and onion until golden; drain and put into crock-pot with clams.
    Add all remaining ingredients, except evaporated milk.
    Cover; cook on low 6 to 9 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
    Add evaporated milk during last hour.
