Sauerkraut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Hillshire smoked sausage (keilbasa)
    1 large onion
    2 apples, quartered
    1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut, undrained
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation
    In skillet, cook sausage and onion until sausage is brown and onion is tender.
    Drain.
    Stir in apples, kraut, water, brown sugar and caraway seed.
    Place in 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
