Gingersnap Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. milk
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Heat to boiling point the first 4 ingredients. Add and mix well. Mix remaining ingredients and sift together.
    Add sifted dry ingredients to first mixture. Shape into mound; wrap in waxed paper and chill thoroughly. Roll on board lightly \"floured\" with confectioners sugar until dough is about 1/4-inch thick. Dip cutter in confectioners sugar each time before cutting cookie, then place cookie on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate 375\u00b0 oven for about 8 minutes.
