Asparagus Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can asparagus, drained
    1 can English peas, drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    1 can water chestnuts
    14 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    6 slices bread, edges trimmed and cut in half
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 13-inch casserole dish and layer in order as named. Dredge bread in melted butter and place on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bread is crisp, approximately 20 minutes.
