Chocolate Filled Bonbons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter flavor Crisco
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 2/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    36 Hershey's chocolate Kisses
    36 pecan halves
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Cream the Crisco, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and egg in a large bowl on medium speed.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
    Stir into creamed mixture.
    Press 2 level teaspoonfuls of dough around each chocolate Kiss, covering completely.
    Place pecan half on top.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 6 to 7 minutes.
    (Don't overbake; they will not brown.)
    Gently press pecans into cookies.
    Makes 3 dozen.
