Chocolate Yeast Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. milk
    2 3/4 c. flour
    3 oz. melted chocolate
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. sugar
    1 cake or pkg. yeast
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. each raisins and nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy.
    Add 3 egg yolks and yeast which has been dissolved in water.
    Sift flour, soda and salt 3 times.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Set aside.
    Add flour, milk and vanilla alternately to creamed mixture.
    Add raisins or nuts.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Cover with cloth or Saran Wrap and let stand 6 hours or overnight.
    Bake in tube pan 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Can be frosted or dust 10x sugar.
