Never Fail Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1 small can milk
    3 medium potatoes, boiled
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. shortening
    6 c. flour
    1 cake yeast
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mash potatoes.
    Stir in shortening while potatoes are still hot; beat well.
    Add milk and salt, then beat in yeast and 1 cup of flour; let stand until foamy.
    Add well beaten eggs and remaining flour; beat dough until elastic and easy to handle. Knead until smooth.
    Let stand in warm place until double in bulk. Make into rolls; let rise until light.
    Bake in moderate oven (375\u00b0).
